As I needed a website that would need to be able to sell merchandise from, and also be responsive and easy to edit/maintain after handing off to the client, I decided to use SquareSpace as my hosting platform.
This in turn was a good choice, as the responsive design built-in to SquareSpace and overall ease to edit would work to my benefit.
My experience working with Christina was wonderful. She being an artist, already understood colors, and had knowledge of how a website might work, though none of the actual training.
The biggest challenges were finding times that worked to do virtual meetings, or sometimes assumed meanings in emails--which were later clarified through follow-up emails.
For my own management of the project, I'd say early on I struggled to communicate consistently with Christina, though I did correct that in the later half of the project. I felt I did well with helping assist with logo creation, and overall website design, and trying to fill in what I thought Christina would want in her website (layout-wise).
Hours spent on project: ~19 hours total
Final cost of project work: ~$1,877.00
